Terms and conditions of sale

These terms apply to the private excursions with a driver-guide offered under the name Normandie-Tours by VTCROUEN.COM (the "provider"). Transport is provided by a private-hire (VTC) driver holding professional card no. 07623021301.

Booking requests are made by WhatsApp, email or the contact form, stating the excursion, date, number of participants and pick-up place.

A booking is confirmed once the provider has confirmed it in writing and received the pre-payment.

Excursions are private, for up to 4 people per vehicle unless stated otherwise.

Prices are in euros, per person, and depend on the number of participants. The total price is confirmed at booking.

What each excursion includes and excludes is stated on its page. Unless stated otherwise, meals, personal expenses and tips are not included.

A pre-payment of 100 € per booking is required to confirm the booking. It is deducted from the total price; the balance is paid on the day of the excursion.

By the customer: cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start of the excursion and the pre-payment is refunded in full. For cancellations less than 24 hours before the start of the excursion, or no-shows, no refund is made.

By the provider: if the excursion cannot take place (dangerous weather, vehicle problem, force majeure), another date is offered or all sums paid are refunded in full.

The programme may be adjusted on the day (traffic, tides, weather, closure of a site) in the interest and safety of participants.

The programme is planned around the all-aboard time given by the customer. The customer must provide accurate times and report any change announced by the cruise line.

Under article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to transport and leisure services provided on a specific date. The cancellation terms in section 5 apply.

Participants arrive on time at the meeting point, follow the instructions of the driver-guide and of the sites visited, and wear suitable clothing (especially walking shoes). Children remain under their parents’ responsibility.

The vehicle used for the excursions is insured for passenger transport with AXA France (agence Seine Sud, Grand-Couronne), contrat n° 11192277304. The provider is not liable for personal belongings left unattended or for delays caused by external events.

Complaints should be sent to contact@normandie-tours.com. These terms are governed by French law. The French version prevails.
